S Y N O P S I S

In an attempt to earn some money, Madhav (Arshad Warsi), Laxman (Kunal Khemu) and Lucky (Tushar Kapoor) trick students into purchasing fake exams. Meanwhile, three robbers — Pappi (Johny Lever), Daga (Sanjai Mishra), and Teja (Vrajesh Hirjee) — rob the queen necklace and run away from police. Pappi who has a short term memory loss hides the necklace in Pritam's (Mithun Chakraborty) house. Pritam, the father of Madhav, Lucky, and Laxman, is a school bus driver, but is always being threatened by a gang leader to return a loan taken by his three good-for-nothing sons.

At the beach, a water sports official Laxman (Shreyas Talpade) whose stammer is made fun by his guests. Daboo (Kareena Kapoor), Laxman's partner, is angry and goes to fight. Gopal (Ajay Devgan) comes and tries to make peace. Meanwhile, Vasooli (Mukesh Tiwari), the owner of the water sports facility, asks Gopal for money. Daboo fools Vasooli and makes him call the police who later screams at Vasooli. That night, in the casino Lucky, while playing pool, by mistake strikes the bowl on Daboo. Daboo calls Gopal and Laxman to fight with Lucky. Lucky tries to apologise, but Daboo takes it as an insult as Lucky is dumb. He then calls Laxman and Madhav. Madhav and Gopal later get involved in a verbal fight. Next morning, Madhav and his brothers too open a water sporting activity on Puppy's loan. Puppy becomes the first guest but Gopal and his partners do not like Madhav opening a water activity so they put glue stick on the jet. Unable to control Pappi destroys both water sports activities.

Pritam unhappily goes to meet Gopal's mother Geeta. When Pritam sees Geeta (Ratna Pathak), he is shocked to realize she is his lost love. He remembers that Prem Chopra, Geeta's father, stopped the disco dancer from marrying his daughter. He had also asked Pritam to get lakhs to marry Geeta in 6 months, but Pritam failed. Pritam and Geeta fight after remembering each other. Daboo overhears the conversation and is determined to get them married. The next morning, both groups open a cracker store, but both fail.

In an another meeting between Pritam and Geeta, it is revealed that Gopal, both the Laxmans, Madhav, and Lucky are all orphans, and that neither Pritam nore Geeta have married. They make Daboo promise not to tell the boys about their parents. Daboo manages to get the two married, and there is another physical fight between the groups. Next morning, much to Madhav's disgust, Pritam moves to Geeta and Gopal's house. When they reach there, Gopal and Laxman are forced to move in the store room. In few days, Pritam is targeted by Gopal and Laxman's pranks.

On the day of Daboo's birthday, the family decides to go for a movie, but Gopal refuses. Near the movie theatre, the criminal who gave loans to Madhav punches Laxman. Pritam and Madhav join the brawl. However, Geeta is hit and Gopal comes to save his mother. Back at home, Gopal is furious at Pritam and Madhav about the loans. That night, Lucky overhears the fact that they are orphans. He unites everybody and tells them that they are all orphans. Daboo comes and confirms the news. They are all now united, and the next morning the newlywed couple is surprised to see their families together. the united family opens a toy store with loans from Vasooli and Pappi. Pappi tries to recognise Pritam at the inauguration. When they all dance and celebrate, Pappi remembers and accuses Pritam of stealing the necklace. Following a long chase, Pappi recalls that he himself had stolen the necklace. Daboo then tricks him in calling the police and he is arrested. The movie ends with Pritam and Geeta going on their first honeymoon.
